Welcome! I am a first year PhD student in the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory at MIT, working with John Guttag and Collin Stultz.

I graduated in 2018 with a BA and MEng from the University of Cambridge, where I studied Information and Computer Engineering. Whilst there, I started Hackbridge with Imran Ahmed.

My research interests are in the applications of machine learning to healthcare. I previously have worked on the intersections of computer vision and wireless sensing for activity recognition, with applications in healthcare. Prior to that, I’ve looked at using reinforcement learning for clinical decision support (paper), and off-policy policy evaluation for reinforcement learning (paper). My Masters thesis, focusing on related topics, can be found here.
